Incorporating special locations is one of my very favorite things to do for an engagement session. It takes the session up a notch for me and can make it into a fun trip through memory lane or one step closer to a romantic date. For Katelin and Nate, they chose to start their session at the gym where the two went to school and met.Read More
Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Amy, Kevin and their 2 beautiful greyhounds. These two beauties are a pair of retired race pups that are living the dream with their puprents enjoying lots of walks and pets. <3Read More

I always love meeting new families especially when it’s for a long-awaited family portrait update! For their 25th wedding anniversary, it only seemed fitting for the Dittmer family to come into the studio and get a new family portrait while they were all in town together.Read More
Last week I got to meet the newest addition to the Hubner family! Big sister Maylin is absolutely enamored with her new little sister. Little Marin was SUCH a good sleeper and did amazing for her newborn session. Major bonus points to having a wood stove going right next to my favorite spot - their antique chair nestled in some great window light next to their Christmas tree.Read More

A big thanks to my dad, the guy that gave me my love of photography when I was a kid for taking these photos for us!
Day 2 of our snow minis was just as much fun as the first day! We got to see a few new faces as well as some familiar ones! Bonus points for starting the day off above 24 degrees(unlike day one). I absolutely loved seeing the reactions from all the kiddos and pups getting to see snow from our crazy snow machine and had a blast photographing each of these families.Read More
