Since before most of these kiddos were born, I have had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful crew for their yearly Christmas portrait. We started in our little studio back in the condo then moved the portrait to a cozier, more meaningful space.

WAAAAAAAAY back in the fall we took some family portraits! I’ve been trying to get these up on the blog to share them but it’s been a wild and crazy ride though autumn and the start to the holiday season.
A big thanks to my dad, the guy that gave me my love of photography when I was a kid for taking these photos for us!
Joe + Gretchen = 4! | In home newborn photographer
Last week I got to meet Joe and Gretchen’s newest addition, baby Jameson. He was so curious about everything that we were doing so he decided to wait until I headed out for his morning nap. Awake newborns are totally fine with me as long as they’re not mad and he was happy to hang out and see what was going on!

Day 2 of our snow minis was just as much fun as the first day! We got to see a few new faces as well as some familiar ones! Bonus points for starting the day off above 24 degrees(unlike day one). I absolutely loved seeing the reactions from all the kiddos and pups getting to see snow from our crazy snow machine and had a blast photographing each of these families.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Deepika and Balaji’s newest addition, baby Athiran. I love lifestyle newborn sessions for so many reasons - not the least of which is the comfort that the smell of home brings to our tiniest clients, newborns.

As many of you already know by now, I LOVE snow! I come by it honestly - my mom is always the first to text me every year when she sees a little snow flake float by the window, even late into January when Indiana turns into a frozen wasteland. That’s the nice thing about snow though, it brings beauty and quiet to the sad greys that otherwise occupy the landscape. There was very little quiet but lots of beauty last weekend as we started off our snow mini sessions though!

The story of Roger and his Charger started years ago when he bought the car at a buy here pay here lot back in high school. He never missed a payment and took great care of the car(as you can see). A few years and upgrades to the car later, Roger sold his beloved Charger to buy Direct Connect Printing - a business I love and use for all of my business materials. He was obviously sad to see the car go but excited for the new business venture.

As many of you know(yet can’t fathom), I am a big fan of snow. I just love the stuff. It’s so magical walking out to see a blanket of white over everything. So this year I went out and found a snow machine! The Abrahams family was excited with me to go out and have a session in the snow(without the freezing temps so many hate) for their holiday session this year!

Caitie is an awesome senior I had the pleasure of walking around the canal with earlier this week. She is a talented young lady playing volleyball, basketball, running in track and is heading off to Stanford after she graduates to study human biology. I am always so excited to hear when young ladies go into STEM programs and am incredibly excited for her future and the good she plans to do.
