When Sam told me what she had in mind for little Kohen’s first birthday portraits and cake smash I was OVER THE MOON(see what I did there?!)! As a fellow space nerd, I had a ton of space items to contribute for this little cutie and his space themed cake smash. We pulled out all the stops and set up a telescope complete with star maps, awesome balloons, including a cool rocket shaped one and a little mars rover. I just love how the whole session turned out from the spring blooms in the background of their family portrait through to the amazing galaxy cake Kohen smashed into at the end. I loved the chance to work with this sweet family and can’t wait for my next chance to work with them!
