Sunset is definitely the most popular time for me to do portraits but don’t discount sunrise in the fall(summer sunrise is too early for me too, but fall is doable). Add in a body of water with the sun first hitting it in the morning and you get something extra special with all the steam rising off the water and some amazing atmosphere.
