Heather + Nick = Engaged! | Downtown Indianapolis engagement photographer

All winter I’ve been waiting for it to warm up just enough to head back downtown for a portrait session. When Heather and Nick told me they were sold on a downtown session, I was crazy excited! It worked out that we went just after St. Patrick’s Day too so we got to see the Canal all green – how fun! ๐Ÿ™‚ It was a little on the chillier side but we kept it moving and the two love birds snuggled up to keep warm. I had an absolute blast with these two and love how the photos came out! Here are a few favorites.

The Salty Siren Tattoo Lounge | Greenwood Indiana Headshot Photographer

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of visiting The Salty Siren Tattoo Lounge to take some headshots of the awesome crew there. I am incredibly excited to come back for part 2 of their photos for a shop tour during their open house on April 1st. Here’s the flier for their open house so you can check it out too:

I had a hard time choosing but here is my personal favorite headshot from everyone over at the Salty Siren.

Jordan + Dillon = 3! | Indianapolis maternity photographer

Jordan and Dillon are always a blast and so much fun to photograph. I absolutely love that they opted to go back to the Camby property for their maternity portraits – the same place they had their engagement session way back. For a refresher, you can see their engagement portraits here. ๐Ÿ™‚ The little details that they brought gave us an awesome extra element to their maternity portraits and I just love how they turned out. Here areaย  few of my favorites from their session.

Kandice | Indianapolis studio portrait photographer

It’s international women’s day today! What better way to celebrate than some headshots of the lovely Kandice? You may recognize this lovely lady from when she modeled for our shoot out at the Indianapolis Art Center a few years ago. If you need a refresher, you can find the shoot here on the blog. Kandice came out yesterday for some new headshots and to check out the new studio! I just love the light that we get out there and I am absolutely crazy about our reclaimed barn wood wall and the first stretched canvas backdrop(more to come<3). Here are a few favorites from her session.

Proverbial Grounds LLC – Personal Chef | Indianapolis food photographer

If you’ve been following us over here, you’ve probably seen some of Francis’ food before. We photographed THIS wonderful event he put on and we’ve had him out before to cook some of his awesome dishes too. Last week, Francis of Proverbial Grounds LLC came out and did a weeks worth of meal prep for us and made a ton of delicious food including polenta lasagna, zoodles with peanut sauce, enchiladas and a bunch of other delicious meals. Everything was vegan, gluten free and incredibly delicious. Francis is a food artist so I couldn’t resist taking a few dishes out to the studio to photograph them as he finished making them. If you’ve ever thought about having a personal chef, or even if you haven’t, I would highly recommend giving Proverbial Grounds a call. You can also find him on facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/Proverbialgrounds

Look at this gorgeous food!
